Valton Beqiri was born on 15.03.1967. Currently acts as Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports. Graduated on Academy of Arts - department for piano, in Pristina, in 1988, mastered on composing in 2005. Behind him he has many artistic creations and concert activities. His previous functions were: 1986 – member of the Society of Composers of Kosovo, 1989 – Professor, Faculty of Art in Pristina, 1998-2001 Deputy Dean, Faculty of Arts – department of music arts, 1991 – 1992 Art director of National Orchestra on Albanian language in Skopje, Macedonia, 1999 – Art director, Academic Ensamble, 2003 - Conductor "RTK Big Band", 2004 – Art director of the festival"Show Fest", 2005 – Art director of the philharmonics – Kosovo Opera, 2006 – Art director of the festival "Zambaks of Prizren".
