Muhamet Aliu was born on 10.02.1962.
Current positions: Government of Republic of Kosovo, Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, since 2003, position: Permanent Secretary; engaged as a professor: International Prishtina University, University “ILIRIA” Prishtina, University “Universum” Prishtina, Tetova State University.
Professional experience: Consortium for Rebuilding of Kosovo (CRK), head of Financial Service, from 2001 to 2003; FAO, GTZ, Ministry of Economy and Finance, organization and lecturing of vocational courses in the area of accounting and finance during the period 2002 to 2004; NKZB “Bashkimi” (Unity) Prishtina, head of commercial financial service in the period from 1981 until 2001.

He is married and has two sons.
