Osman Osmani is born on 12.02.1962 in a village Mljike near Dragaš. He is acting coordinator of NGO “Iniciativa 6”. He used to work on executive position in TI “Printeks” in Prizren from 1985-2004.
With a group of followers he formed NGO “Inicitiva 6”, whose goal is to promote and improve children’s position in education, with special emphasis on children from Roma community and other communities. He actively participated in resolving issues regarding civil sector. He participated in preparations for report on civil sector for Council of Europe (2004-2006), in research “Position of Roma, Aškali and Egyptian children in Prizren Municipality” in 2003, in publishing of the brochure “Manual for decreasement and elimination of departing from regular education” in 2007, in research “Children are speaking”, in 2007. He took part in preparation of the strategy for integration of Roma, Aškali and Egyptians in Kosovo, in 2007-2008. He is a member of a working group for preparation of curriculum in Roma language (2008/2009).
