Belul Beqaj was born on 14.06.1957, in Prizren, Kosovo. He is acting president of European Movement in Kosovo, and a political analyst.
His professional functions were: political advisor in Federal Conference of Youth of former Yugoslavia, secretary of the Commission for theoretical work of PKK, secretary of the Commission for selection and nomination in the Assembly of Kosovo, publisher of newspaper and magazine „Dita“. He acted as president of Society of political workers of Kosovo, president of the Basketball Federation of Kosovo, vice-president of the Olympic Committee of Kosovo.
He wrote following books: “Freedom of press in Kosovo“, 2007; “Question of day“ SZLJPS“, 2000, Pr; “What was the role of RTK during riots in March 2004“, Pr. Expert publications: "Views", no. 2, 1988 Split; "Political temptations of intelligence in Kosovo": “Marxist thought”, no. 3/4 1989; "Perspective of Yugoslav-Albanian relations"; "Ideas" no.5/6; "Theistic atheism in Albania"; Helsinki Board for Human Rights; "Kosovo issue obstacles democratization in Serbia" Belgrade, 1997; "Compromise instead endless hope"; “Helsinki Charter” 1997 i "Albanian-Serbian dialogue" ,Ulcinj,1997; Helsinki files, no. 20; “Untying the Kosovo knot“ with work; “Two fundamental issues: revitalization of borders and apsolutisation of rights“, 2005. He was representative of Kosovo in project "Balcans and Europe (Nova Gorica and Bologna) with work; “Force transformed into law“ etc.
He finished elementary and secondary school in Prizren, graduated on Facultu of Political Sciences in Belgrade, while he obtained masters degree in political sciences in Priština.
