Ramadan Qehaja is born on 16.09.1942. in village Rogačica, municipality of Kosovska Kamenica. He is acting director of Kosovo Center for Security Studies. He is well-known expert for military and security issues. He was on high ranking positions in former Yugoslav National Army - JNA until 1990 when he was retired from the post of Head of Headquarters of Territorial Defence of Kosovo. In 2005/2006 he acted as advisor for security to the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
As seniour lecturer on Priština University he wrote a book “Basis of national defence of SFRY”, and several brochures and scripts. In late 2004 he published a book “National security of Kosovo”. He participated on several conferences (of a regional character) on political-security issues.
He graduated on Military Academy for land forces, Command Headquarters Academy and School of National Defence of Yugoslavia in Belgrade.
