Deals with journalism since late 70-es. He is the initiator of foundation of independent syndicate of journalists in Tanjug press agency. From 1992 he has, together with group of his colleagues, started with preparations for founding of independent press agency. That project was finalized in 1994, when press agency Beta started its work, and he acted as editor in chief since december 2000. He is one of the founder of Independent Society of Journalists of Serbia and, in several occasions, member of executive board of NUNS. He was a member of a team he initiated, and of a group which afterwards wrote a new Code, adopted in NUNS and Society of Journalists of Serbia (UNS). He was a member of Executive Board of Association of Private Media, (APM), Executive Board of Center for Proffesionalization of Media (CPM) i Executive Board of Media Center. During the period 2006-2008 he worked as Deputy Minister of Culture in the Government of Serbia. Currently he acts as Deputy Editor in chief in daily newspaper “Politika“. Married, father of one child. |







Dragan Janjić is born in 1955 in village Lopare (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Graduated Faculty of Phylology in Belgrade (department for Serbian language and literature).
