He started working in TV Priština, as intern journalist, where he advanced to become editor of documentary programme. He is still employed in TV Priština, financed by RTS. He is one of the founders of Link production in Gračanici, where he is, among other things, working as author of informative and documentary tv shows. He is a member of Union of Journalists of Serbia. He is one of the initiators of revival and, for a certain period of time, after 2002, he was a president of Society of Journalists of Kosovo and Metohija. Currently he is acting as member of Executive Board of Society of Journalists of Kosovo and Metohija. He is the winner of five annual RTS awards for work of documentary shows in department of documentary programme of. On Festival of Ethnological Film in Kučevo he won two Silver Shepherds (second award) for two different ethnological films. On festival in Sombor „ INTERFER“, he won gold and silver award and several special awards. On festival of local televisions in Koshice in Slovakia he won a special prize of Austrian Association of Journalists for his documentary feature „Yule clog for forgotten ones“. Same feature was awarded on an international festival in Budapest. He finished his studies of journalism in University of Kosovska Mitrovica. Before that he became student of final year of studies of Jugoslav literature and Serbo-Croatian language, University of Prištini. He finished two years of Faculty of Belle Arts in Belgrade, Department of Management in Culture. Married, father of three. |
