Gjergj Dedaj, born on 23rd of April, 1954 in Đakovica.
Finished elementary and secondary school in his hometown.
Graduated on University of Priština, studies of Philosophy and Sociology.
Post-graduate student, Faculty of Law in Priština, department of Public Administration.
Founder of Liberal-Democracy in Kosovo (1991) and current president of LPK.
Former vice-President of the Assembly of Kosovo-1998.
Member of Provisional Council of Kosovo-2000.
Ko-president of Parliamentary group for Integration.
Member of Parliamentary Commission for EU Integrations and Euro-Athlantic structures in the Assembly of Kosovo 2005-2007. MP in the Parliament of Kosovo 2004-2007.
Member of the Board of ELDR, with central office in Bruxelles. Candidate for „Freedom Award“, award given by Liberal Internationalle, with central office in London.
Married, father of five children. Lives in Priština.
Mother tongue Albanian, fluent in English, Serbian and German language.
