Seeking Experts for Kosovo Business Enabling Environment Program, Chemonics International, a global development firm based in Washington, DC, seeks four municipality coordinators for the USAID-funded Business Enabling Environment Program in Kosovo. This new project will work towards legal reform, policy implementation, national and local government capacity building, commercial lending, and public-private partnerships. The Municipal Coordinators will be BEEP’s municipality representative, and be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, positive, and results-producing relationships with local government officials across department and agencies, with all donors operating in the area, and with all appropriate private sector representatives. Interested candidates should have experience with competitiveness enhancement and the implementation of secondary legislation. All positions are based in the municipalities listed below with some travel to Pristina.

· Gjakovë/Djakovica Coordinator

· Ferizaj/Uroševac Coordinator

· Gracanica/Gračanica Coordinator

· Shtërpcë/Štrpce Coordinator

Successful candidates will bring a minimum five years of experience in the relevant technical area for the position, and proven ability to carry out technical aspects of a development project; experience working for USAID-funded projects in Kosovo highly preferred; advanced degree in relevant field; fluent spoken and written English; computer fluency.
